If you can't beat 'em....
Brooklyn can't seem to resist writing on the walls. I finally decided to put an end to the battle....

Now she has her own special place in her bedroom to be as creative as she wants (within reason). This can be painted over and it gives her some boundaries while still allowing her to be "creative." I'm not sure she'll have any interest in writing on the wall now that it isn't against the rules but I sure had fun painting on the wall. I'm tempted to paint myself a square to doodle and scribble on.

Hmmm. Like mother, like daughter. I remember Mom having to paint over your art several times...and then there was the time you "decorated" my room....
ReplyDeleteOh...well, I suppose Brooklyn did get it from somewhere - and we all know her Dad is NOT artistic. He can be destructive, though....
ReplyDeleteAll right already, would you forgive me for dusting your room with powder when I was FOUR YEARS OLD?! If you do, I promise to forgive you for burning my stuffed lion's tail on the heater :-)
C'mon, Mom, surely I wasn't your only child that liked to write on the walls and "decorate".....
